join an emerge group
Emerge groups are designed to provide opportunity for our generation to gather together to realize their call and through relationship, be released for overflow and growth. They meet in homes, in coffee shops, in restaurants, and a variety of other locations because we are called to Emerge outside the four walls. This is the...
meet the team
The Emerge leadership team is made up of passionate young adults, much like yourself, from a variety of ages and backgrounds as we try to represent our generation and what our generation is asking for. The purpose of our team is to plan our Emerge nights, keeping them spontaneous in nature, but organized in mission. We meet once a quarter to...
mission statement
We emerge not because it is the latest buzz word; we emerge because we have put ourselves in the proximity of His presence. We emerge because we have not assumed He was present; we emerge because we have guaranteed His presence. For us to be a voice crying out, like John the Baptist, preparing the way for Christ’s return, then we must...
the details
Emerge meets the once a month as college aged, young professionals, and young marrieds (plus those who are eternally young) gather together. Each month is spontaneous in nature (of course announced in advance) and different from the last as we will have times of training, opportunities for outreach, and nights where we mobilize Emerge to go support other ministries around the Eastside and greater Seattle area. Emerge is non-denominational and welcomes everyone to come be a part of what is going on.
Emerge is more than a meeting though; it is a lifestyle. Taking the revelations God has given us and creating opportunities to walk it out, Emerge has a variety of groups that meet throughout the week in the homes, communities, and social venues of its members. The groups focus is dynamic to the passion and pursuit of its leader and you can check out any group at any time. To see a list of these groups and meet their leader, go here.
Emerge is not just another meeting or a good time you forget about the next morning. Come ready to experience God in a personal way and motivated to make a difference in your relationships, your school, your work, and every other area of influence. We are after the “engaged mind that illuminates awareness and the engaged heart that awakens passion” (Brennan Manning in Abba’s Child).
For every young adult who is wanting something more than a movie or night out on the weekend and wants to co-labor with friends as we emerge out of the status quo and engage a passionate awareness of the needs of others, then come join us!
